I like Willie just fine, but he looks like a homeless zombie. Than again, maybe there are enough "homeless zombie groupies" out there to make him register on the sexy meter. See http://www.crawfishfest.com/ for more information. Many of my friends are playing this fest so it is going to be a lot more fun than work. Also there will be plenty of time for evening get togethers and jams. Is anyone interested in coming down for the fest??? I will most likely be flying into JFK on Thursday night from New Orleans and will be headed up to the fest area that night. I will be coming back down on Sunday night to fly out on Monday morning. If anyone is interested in getting together please email me. That on Saturday, June 24th, JMDL's very own Gregg Cagno will be playing a house concert at my house in Topsfield, MA along with his wife Maggie. For those of you who have already heard Gregg play at several Jonifests, I don't need to tell you how wonderful he is!! For those of you who haven't heard him, believe me, it will be worth your while to attend this show! He is FANTASTIC!! For reservations (limited!!) and more info, please e-mail me privately at this address. Hope everyone is doing well. Later when I went to work with a government contractor I learned just about everyone has to sign documents that they will not disclose anything no matter if it may be public knowledge or disclosed elsewhere or seemingly innocuous. If you do disclose, you can be prosecuted, so that (in addition to wanting to keep your job) is an incentive to stay mum. In my current job I cannot disclose or comment on certain topics of the day even though the same subject may be being talked about all over the news. In my case also, I can be prosecuted if I comment. Years ago I had to fly to San Jose and deliver reams of paper to be filed at the court there. Our flight had been delayed in L.A. and somehow one of my attorneys had made a deal with the court house to stay open late for my arrival. While in flight one of the flight attendants took mercy on me and moved me up to First Class so I could be the first one off the plane. As I moved up lugging two large litigation bags a very nice and familiar looking gentlemen rose up out of his aisle seat and offered it to me and also hoisted my bags into the stowed position. He was very friendly and kind. I knew he was an actor but it didn't dawn on me until I was getting off the plane that it was none other than Mr. Peter Coyote. Kakki "I understand why they cast me as lawyers, because I can wear the suits but what is it about my face and demeanor that suggests crappy writing?"...Philadelphia Inquirer ------------------------------ End of JMDL Digest V2006 #199 ***************************** ------- Post messages to the list by clicking here: mailto:joni@smoe.org Unsubscribe by clicking here: mailto:joni-digest-request@smoe.org?body=unsubscribe -------
