I was pretty excited at first because there was also a "Wizard of Is" in the set, but alas it was not a Joni cover. Bob NP: Leslie West, "Respect" Tired of spam? Yahoo! More amazing connections. How cool to read all of your memoirs of places I know so well! I grew up in NJ but my family moved to CA in 1969. I spent the summer of love still in NJ (falling in love for the first, okay the second time) but listening to all those songs & longing to be in CA where the real hippies were I was certain!... lovely memories of that year nevertheless... a magical time for sure! yes I know every single one of those places you mentioned... I can't believe you were here recently but considering the importance of your family trip I think you made the right decision... another time perhaps? Laura keeps threatening to come this way so maybe we can coordinate a mini fest of anti war mother's of sons jmdlers! Btw, I have all of my leslie gore 45s! >To make a long story short (oh, I wish I could be as succint as Catherine and Smurf!), I guess what I'm trying to say is that I am TOTALLY with you tomorrow, Kate. On the beach, across from my old hotel room, with our shared Joniness here, with having met my hero, Cindy Sheehan who was there herself to mourn the senseless loss of her beautiful son in 2004, with you singing your heart out on the beach with all those crosses.... I wish we could all see you on our TV sets! I will feel you, and be with you, in my heart and mind this Mothers' Day. It is owned and operated by long distance carriers like MCI, SPRINT, GTE, ATT, etc (who are themselves owned by each other, no doubt). These carriers are under contractual obligation to each other and to ISPs. They also operate under constitutional, statutory, and regulatory constraints, many of them dealing with privacy (Fourth Amendment law, Electronic Communication Privacy Act, etc). I did indeed forget Harlem. Not intentionally, I assure you. I'm a bit confused by your comment, "It's a black thing". I understand there is a district in New York called, Harlem that is mainly populated by African/Americans but your comment still confuses me. Is this a cultural reference? Mark in Sydney.
