I was appalled when I heard on the radio last monday the brother of the "victim" (sic.) saying he would not answer the Interior Minister's invitation to meet the family. Actually what he meant is that he won't meet the tough guy, who by the way is predicted to become the next president of France, and he'd rather meet the puppets who will kiss his ass to calm things down. All I can say is that this is more evidence that french politics is a hostage to the arab vote. We've known that already. One tough guy doesn't bend over and all hell breaks loose! Just like a comment I heard on the radio a while back from a french-born arab; "the french colonized us and now we are" You know, during the Gaza pullout, french tv, for once, showed an israeli woman who said: "don't be fooled, the arabs won't be satisfied with just all of Israel. He must have been lit! LMAO!!! He's a great performer though. Love the jerks. They did that cover the night they closed the Tradewinds down:~( They would hold the Light of Day Benefit shows there; speaking of which, I'm going to the 6th Annual Light of Day show at the Stone Pony tomorrow night. Light of Day is a benefit concert for Parkinson's Disease & ALS. Michael J. Fox showed up a few years back and played guitar with Springsteen. They've got a great lineup this year. Southside Johnny, Jesse Malin and La Bamba to name a few. This is a three day concert fundraising event hosted by my good friend Bob Benjamin who is afflicted with the disease. LOD will also hit Los Angeles and Rome! I'll post about it later. Jakob Dylan is on the bill! Below is a link to their site if anyone is interested. _http://www.lightofday.org_ (http://www.lightofday.org) ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 3 Nov 2005 22:41:21 -0800 From: Richard Goldman Subject: Emmylou at Rufus's NYC concert [njc] It's true.
