One set of people judging the lives of others. And oin line with the utter sarcasm, whether one is a prince of the church or a queen of the disco, I am hearing people who are not involved in the reproductive cycle making judgments on those who are. You think it is funny to be so aha sarcastic. You know I have been at abortion clinics that have been bombed and I have been physically attacked in my coillar defending choice at those sites? You are making grandiose statements about the lives of others when you know nothing about the realities of their life other than what you have picked up in the media. One never drowns in the shallow end of the pool... For all we know, Stephen Stills climbed a mountain and saw a message in a bird flying about as a voice from beyond telling him it was all right to have a kid. You don't know, I don't know. You are so damned resistant to anyone judging you while you judge others. And honestly, the statement about you making sense - you show me a four lane highway and give me a Mack Truck ready to drive down that road. Such an opening. I shall set the keys down and walk away however. Just remember that next time some self righteous pharisee is procliaming that sexcality is a choice and you reject that because your sexuality is not a choice, think about all the options there. Heterosexuality is not a choice. Pregnancy (other than I have never been there land) is not a choice. Things happen in the lives of others that is not ours to know or judge. In my fantasy, I am performing the baptism of the Stills child. I see you in the back of the church looking down your nose going "tsk tsk tsk, he should know better." And I hear that in a really stereotypical voice. In my sin, I mentally give you the finger. Then I turn away from you. Then I baptize the baby and dance with the child and with the parents at the joy of new life. Oh my dear, Vince is being so blunt. Yeah, I am. And I will be damned and your sarcasm ignored as I am not one of the inner group. But given the options, I will always dance with the baby and the new parents and celebrate life. And there are always Greek chorus bemoaning the lives of those they cannot control,a nd they need to be flipped off. In fact, "Dancing with the baby" would be a great Joni song. Better than Dancing Clown. - -- http://www.southsiders.net > vince wrote: > > Before any of these reputed "consequences" happen I do so hope > > people > > are checking the actuarial tables to prevent old people from having > > "consequences" > > Don't worry. Guess that's my cue to find the instructions I used to mail around to picture posters. You think it is funny to be so aha sarcastic. 1. I am not one of your congregation. I do not like being preached at. 2. I am not a child. I do not like being scolded. 3. Just because you shout louder and longer than anybody else, that does not make you right. I should have gone with my first instinct and deleted your initial post on this subject without reading once I got to the part where you were accusing others of being judgemental. I laughed at that and did delete the post. But others quoted from it and so I went back and read the whole rant. I have just as much a right to my opinion as you do and I will not be bullied into being silent. So save it, Vince. Your future posts on any subject will be deleted unread, including the majority of this one.
