There are some reputable studies that do provide some evidence that it might play a role in Alzheimer's disease. Omega 3 oils and St. John's Wort do provide some relief for mental illness without the risk factors of aluminium. Ive been receiving a slew of mail off list mail this week, and need to set the record straight. Lama, you've given me the perfect 'in' to do so, so thanks for that. Lama, in his recent reply to a new list member, who is trying to figure out who the players are on this wonderful list, mentioned that there was a marriage that took place as a result of the JMDL.. For anyone does or does not know me, I need you to understand that what I am about to say is very difficult. It is of utmost importance to me that this does NOT become list fodder. It's more a statement, a clarification, for my own good really. If there is to be discussion of the following, I'd prefer it come into my private inbox, off list. The only reason I'm doing this is because it's time for me to come clean as it were and set that record straight, for myself as well as those who have been asking "what the heck happened???". The marriage that took place as a result of meeting on the JMDL was mine. It no longer exists. it Telling it like it is for the record, because I just dont want any assumptions made as to the assumed happily ever after of that union. I apologize to those who may be reading this and wondering Wuh??? or anyone who feels this is way off base. I know that many list members have shared personal aspects of their lives, from depression and beyond. No worries, I've not gone loopy or stepped across that line I drew in the sand over seven months ago, but sometimes a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do. I havent taken leave of my senses, Ive come to them. And I celebrate this new found strength and conviction. Ive been a part of this community for nearly five years now, and am blessed with new sisters, brothers, and life long friends as a result. Yea, yea we all complain about flame wars, notches wars, DED wars, star wars and so on, however, I know I'm enriched because of so many of you, sharing life, music, a multitude of things, really. I'm back in Canada, safe and sound, and all the happier for it. Again, my sincerest apologies for being so open about something so private, but it's important to me to say, just so. Thanks for the bandwidth, and if you do feel like a little conversation about this, please take it off list, and direct it to me, personally. with no regrets coyote, and tonnes of love, always, Mags. imagine you're a girl, with ten mile stilts wailin' jennys 40 days The all-new My Yahoo! I didn't include the whole article here, just the Joni content... Where I live now the walls are painted green and yellow and ocean blue. The ceilings are high, the rooms forever inundated with light. There are rosebushes in the yard, and bougainvillea and a lemon tree I once planted by mistake, not knowing what it was or whether it would grow, and which surprises me still every time it blooms. Up Benedict Canyon and right below Mulholland Drive, in the once-remote border between the Valley and the Westside where aging movie stars had come to hide before the developers arrived. There's a market nearby where, in the time it takes to scan a gallon of milk, the clerk will tell you all about his latest fight with his wayward boyfriend, a coffee place where a young Russian woman - bleached hair and too much makeup and clothes you suspect she can hardly afford - arrives every afternoon with her elderly mother, and a deli with an outdoor patio where Joni Mitchell sits on hot summer evenings, smoking cigarettes and speaking softly to companions who seem to hang on her every word.
