Alex and Maggie were knackeredf fromt ehre flight and no sleep. I had a 3 hour trip which normally would have taken 1.40hrs, because of the amount of traffic on the motorway-slowed right down to 20mph for over an hour!! I had just picked John up from the airport after a business trip to Switzerland. However, I knew this was going to be (probably) the only chance to meet Maggie so we did it. We sat outside in a cafe/bar in Covent Graden. the weather was with us. So far each USA jmdler I have met has been easy. It really is not like we have never met. We had good coversation and it all felt just comfortable. It's such a shame we all live so far apart. Maggie and alex are off to Amsterdam tomorrow I think. I am sure they are having a wonderful time. I am so glad I met them. - -- bw colin http://www.btinternet.com/~tantraapso/ ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 07 Jun 2004 09:03:50 +0000 From: fauchja@comcast.net Subject: Re: New album from Fred Simon? njc Fred, Got Windham Hill America yesterday. Razorbacks are from Arkansas, not Texas. That does appear pretty obvious...maybe they should have changed it to armadillos! And the joke reminds me of the actions of our own governor Mark Sanford who vetoed a budget that was filled with what he called pork-filled private projects. When the Senate overrode his veto and passed the budget anyway, Sanford showed up at the State House with two live pigs in tow, and basically said "if you want pork, then you can have pork". I thought it was pretty funny, the congress folks and the press were not so kind.
