Imagine if you met people through an internet community, travelled half way across the world to meet them, stayed at their houses and then went to a MUSIC FESTIVAL.. in some BACKWOODS area of UP STATE NEW YORK, in a place where there are BEARS..AND IT IS ALSO NOT FAR FROM THAT PLACE CALLED WOODSTOCK.... and not only that, but you shared a room with a total stranger...... AND NOT ONLY THAT but you stayed up drinking with them and eating with them and THEN ....AND THEN... you got up on stage (without a safety cage of chicken wire) to sing some songs and tell a rude joke.. that had it been aired at the half time in Super Bowl would have resulted in OUTRAGE.......and international incidents.. and the sending of gunboats and weapons of mass destruction to the UK..... I know, It would never happen would it... who makes real friends on the internet eh? Dylan whatever age you are, you just carry on writing, its your hobby and interest and we all do our own thing here..as it is a free space in which to do it.... YOu might be 13... you might be 84... YOu talk about Joni more than a lot of us do, and if you are the only 13 year old in Australia who likes JOni then HURRAH FOR THAT.... Anyway I should be going to work.... Me too - and imagine flying halfway around the world and actually staying in the homes of people you've never met before, except via email. God knows what could happen - you might have to stay up until 3am every night to talk about music. The horror!
