Today in Miami on my biweekly trek to the Doctor, I went into a book store and looked at Annie Leibovitz's new book "American Rock" and Joni has a two page spread again on I believe page 120-121. The photo was taken in 1999 with her sitting next to a Tiffany lamp cigg in hand looking slightly up with her eyes closed (lavender eye shadow) like Travelogue painting. Then in the back there is a short bio that tells her story from polio to now saying the industry was a "Cess Pool," but released "Travelogue" anyway. Another beauty by Annie! Also great shot of Johnny and Roseanne Cash on Maybell Carters front porch playing guitars in black and white looks recent, but how cool to be on Maybell"s front porch, the history of Legends. Also one of June and Johnny, very tender shot. I couldn't buy it cause I have a few e-bay bids I.m scared of winning:~) Peace, Mingus ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 5 Nov 2003 03:10:12 -0300 From: "Wally Kairuz" Subject: southern lights njc so what i saw was the southern lights indeed. this is from merriam-webter's. aurora aus.tra.lis \-o-"stra-les, -a-"stra-\ noun [NL, lit., southern dawn] (1741) : an aurora that occurs in earth's southern hemisphere - called also southern lights (C)1997, 1996 Zane Publishing, Inc.
