It snowed like crazy, and the Beatles had to ride a train from NY. We had no school in Fairfax County, VA, that day, and I asserted and aggressed my way into the press conference the Beatles held when they arrived. I had my press cards at the ready (high school journalists tend to be prepared). Ringo, bless him, winked at me, and I became a dyke. Ah, memories. Cheerz, Janet and Deanna Ivy the Wonderkitty, who can't imagine why I care about having met the Beatles, considering that I live with the biggest kitty superstar of them all At 11:34 PM 8/19/2003 -0700, Kate Bennett wrote: > >The new package features 20 live performances by the band spread over four >episodes of the legendary US TV variety series 'The Ed Sullivan Show.'
