"Joni Mitchell: A Woman Of Heart and Mind" is available on NTSC VHS or DVD
from WNET in New York.  From the USA and Canada, you can call
1-800-336-1917.

"Painting With Words and Music" is available on DVD and NTSC-VHS (in the USA
at least).  Try www.amazon.com   I don't know if it is free of region
coding.

"Shadows and Light" is available on DVD from a reputable guy in Hong Kong,
via eBay auctions.  This one is advertised as being free of region coding.
It plays fine here in the US and includes stuff left off the 60 minute
version sold on VHS here twenty years ago.  <shudder>

I had always thought that Blue was written with James Taylor in mind, but 
after watching the program thr other night, and reading so many posts, it 
seems it must have been for Graham Nash,  Now, how about Hejira? Any ideas?

Fortunately, in Portland, Oregon there is a station, call letters KINK, t=

has always been above the rest and you can hear Joni on there fairly
frequently.  Sometimes they will do an artist focus of which Joni has bee=

the subject and they also have "Saturday Night CD" when they play a whole=

from an artist with no interruptions.  I've listened to them now for abou=

30 years and they deserve my loyalty.  Yes, I fully understand the euphor=

when a radio station plays Joni.  I can usually "name that tune" within a
few notes when they come on.  Once I saw David Wilcox in concert and knew
within 3 notes that he was playing ACOY.  Tears of joy!=0D

i don't think the above is an always thing...obviously that is the way joni
saw it...we have heard her say in other interviews that she felt that graham
wanted a stay at home wife & kids etc which was not the path she was
on...for a many woman, having & raising children is definately a choice that
can take you away from a career & creative output or at least slow it down
or put it on hold...
