You know who you are. If there are to be names of donors on this bench, yours will definitely be there. Thank you for your faith in this project. The Joni Mitchell's Beside Herself Fund now has its own address. Cheques and money orders can be sent to: Joni Mitchell's Beside Herself PO Box 22100 (RPO Wildwood) Saskatoon, SK S7H 5P1 email: BesideHerself@shaw.ca tel: 306-652-8016 Good news is that the sculptor Joe Fafard has expressed an interest in making the statue, and has given permission for us to say so in a press release. He wants to know whether Joni Mitchell approves of this project and whether she'll agree to sit for him. Joe's work is internationally known - see http://www.joefafard.com Regarding the bank account, for the time being, we're back to using the Credit Union account we first set up, because the CIBC won't keep track of cheques for us. Anyone who has already donated to the CIBC account, it will still get to us. The Credit Union details are: Joni Mitchell's Beside Herself Saskatoon Credit Union (2002) Broadway Branch 912 Broadway Avenue Saskatoon, SK S7N 1B7 Account number 62448-889-200107230444 That's it for now. Very non-Western. That is a very good description. There is also something unique about his collaborations with Joni - I have felt for some time that he has become a natural extension of her in the music. Someone mentioned loving his contributions except for on Lead Balloon - I think some of his most brilliant paint strokes are on that song!
