I always wondered why I kind of liked the tune, for Chicago (with the exception of 25 to 6 to 4 I didn't necessarily care for.) Too easy! Peter Noone was the lead singer of Herman's Hermits, who had a hit with "I'm Into Something Good" which was written by Gerry Goffin and Carole King, and Joni sang back-up on Carole's Tapestry album. Also, Peter Noone's mother's name was Joan, and his favourite colour is blue - do they count?! Geez, Bob, if you're going to issue a challenge, you could at least make it a hard one?!
