I did sit down and figure out ALL the taxes I pay a few years ago and it was 70 fecking percent of my middle range income. And still some would brutally and unconsciously demand more from people instead of trying to find ways to reduce the need for taking more of average wage owners earnings. How much of the actual money finds its way to the programs demanding it and how much just goes to support the bureaucracy? It is appalling but many people will not see it until they really add it all up.
