I agree with Mr. Scowcroft that intelligence information is a must before any action is taken. As you know the article was written 8/15/02, and more information has come to light in regards to Iraq hiding, and training terrorist. Kasey kasey wrote "But terrorist/terrorism must be stopped all over the world." I agree. If anyone interested in reading an informed opinion on why a war against Iraq at this time could jepordize this war on terrorism, here is a commentary from the Wall Street Journal. It was written by Brent Scowcroft, national security adviser under Presidents Gerald Ford and George H.W. I do apologise to Catman and Gerald McNamara - you contacted me a long while ago and I'm only just replying. Our family has grown from two girls to two girls and two boys. On August 6th, Aidan Vincent and Curtis Devin joined us and though falling pregnant again and discovering they are twins was a shock, it's been the most wonderful surprise in the past couple of years! I had to share this joy with all on the List although it's been years since I've been actively contributing. So here's to new beginnings and unexpected turns! I never expected to be a 27 year old mother of 4 but it is a joy and a blessing. Joni content - The Astor (a cinema in Melbourne) recently showed The Last Waltz and we took the babies to "hear" with it us. The music was fabulous... Evan (my husband) and I knew little about The Band so we found the music excellent and the live performances riveting (scary outfit from Van Morrison!) but the interview with the band members were incoherent and disappointing. Half the time we couldn't hear what they were saying. Joni looked and sounded terrific but I thought she looked somewhat bemused by the tempo of the song. Were they going a little faster than what she expected? Vanessa in Melbourne! NP: the spanky new dryer from all our friends so I had more to spend with the kids and not the housework! ------------------------------ End of JMDL Digest V2002 #390 ***************************** ------- Post messages to the list by clicking here: mailto:joni@smoe.org Unsubscribe by clicking here: mailto:joni-digest-request@smoe.org?body=unsubscribe ------- Siquomb, isn't she?
