As much as I love the Heads' version, credit must be given to Al Green for writing the song. And his version of it is wonderful as well. I read and listen from all sources including NPR and the anti-republican ones just to see what everyone's input is. The National Review article is extemely factual and cites hard evidence long available publically. You just reveal your bias not to consider looking at anything that may disprove your allegations, which is fine, I suppose, but I don't understand why, if you are sincerely concerned about the issue you will not look an objective analysis of the actual evidence (and a link to the documents themselves). You might be surprised at what it has to say. Kakki ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 12 Jul 2002 00:11:12 EDT From: Murphycopy@aol.com Subject: Now: Gay - ever heard of it? The Internet is no doubt a great way to market music and expose people to new releases, especially those by artists not blessed by radio. But I can't get past the idea of copying copyrighted materials without the permission of the copyright holder. It's unethical and illegal. There will have to be a happy medium found somehow. By the way, since the article started showing up on the 'net, there has been more traffic on janisian.com than ever.
