Welcome back Courtney! Well I guess we've > been waiting to complete the trade, since we lost Jody to the east > coast last year. > Susan, LOL! Scott and I were in stitches over that one!! Emily and Courtney, Welcome to/back to Chicago/Oak Park. We lived in Berwyn which is just down the road. Susan and Vince covered a lot already so I'll be brief. The two places to go in Berwyn are: 1 - Fitzgerald's - A Great Music venue on Roosevelt. Great live music so close to home/within walking distance. You don't have to get on the Ike :~) 2 - Mi Tierra - If you like Mexican food, this is the best kept secret place in the Chicago area. Mmmm Mmmm Good Margaritas too! Corner of Cermak and Harlem in Berwyn. As Far as Ball Clubs go.........(Hi Debra Shea...err.. ahem ;~) As Susan and Vince were saying.......... You should go to Wrigley though, as it it such a great Ball Park. You should go to the Art Institute as well. Find out when Fred Simon is playing and GO :~) Good Luck to You, jody ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 30 Jan 2002 23:16:10 -0800 From: "Kate Bennett" Subject: Subject: walk with the zombies njc thanks goodness wally that you are okay...my friend mark has been trying to email you with info re: freelance editing...i told him you were online now & to try reaching you again... ******************************************** Kate Bennett www.katebennett.com sponsored by Polysonics Discover the Indies at Taylor Guitars: http://www.taylorguitars.com/artists/awp/indies/bennett.html ******************************************** ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 30 Jan 2002 23:18:16 -0800 From: "Kate Bennett" Subject: RE: (NJC) Now: Hawaii well one of my experiences was spending the night in a friends place up near princeville...i slept very little...really the whole trip i slept very little listening to all the night sounds but my dreams were in vivid colors & all night long the sound of wild birds & a frog that i thought was a bird infiltrated my dreams...i woke up in a very altered state & after i said goodbye to my friends as i was walking out their driveway all of the birds were talking back & forth & very clearly they were saying thank you thank you thank you thank you in their high little bird voices...no drugs were involved whatsoever...such a beautiful place with white egrets flying about everywhere... that is very cool way to describe the energy there-->>>It's like there are no metaphysical or other kinds of shields upthere against the powers.<<< ******************************************** Kate Bennett www.katebennett.com sponsored by Polysonics Discover the Indies at Taylor Guitars: http://www.taylorguitars.com/artists/awp/indies/bennett.html ******************************************** ------------------------------ End of JMDL Digest V2002 #48 **************************** ------- Post messages to the list by clicking here: mailto:joni@smoe.org Unsubscribe by clicking here: mailto:joni-digest-request@smoe.org?body=unsubscribe ------- Siquomb, isn't she?
