I had a hard time leaving Philadlephia Story and Rear Window off the list -- let alone Virgina Woolf, Witness for the Prosecution, Double Indemnity and The Women. And to have no Audrey Hepburn (Breakfast at Tiffany's, Roman Holiday or even, all those fantastic Givenchy gowns in Funny Face) would be difficult to say the least. Anyone who hasn't seen The Lion In Winter should rent it this weekend. The casting is incredible and the language very urbane and modern for a period piece.
