That's assuming there's power, and a video player, and a TV. OK, so it's a well-equipped island! You have to have some way to play your music anyway, so don't question me! Oh, and no "music videos" allowed, unless it's an actual musical. My top ten movies, again subject to instant change, and definitely in no particular order: 1. True Lies - Arnie taking the piss out of himself, love it! 2. The Long Kiss Goodnight - Samuel L and Geena - a good shoot-em-up movie. 3. The Sound Of Music - I've always loved this one - I still watch it all the time! 4. All About Eve - Bette at her best 5. If These Walls Could Talk 2 - just because! 6. Victor/Victoria - Julie Andews playing a woman playing a man playing a woman, and Lesley Ann Warren in the most hilarious performance I've ever seen! 7. The Big Chill - great cast, and a good story 8. A League Of Their Own - another great cast (plus it's women + sport - can't lose!). I also get some Carole King (she wrote the theme song) 9. What About Bob? - got to have lots of comedy, and this is Bill Murray at his best 10. Apollo 13 - just because it's a great account of the actual event, and the performances are so good (it's also a long movie, and will fill in time while I'm waiting for the next coconut to ripen) I've just realised how "trivial" these all are - no deep, intellectual movies here. But then movies have always been a diversion, or escape for me, so I guess it's in keeping with that. Who cares? I'm alone on this damn island anyway, or I wouldn't need all these movies and books and CDs, so who's going to see?! Kakki > To all my dear friends in Joniland- > All my bags are packed and I ready to go and I had to stop to tell you guys how much love you and apppreciate your friendship and love. I have missed the big list very much this last month, but I have been healing my soul and heart and getting ready to change myself for the better. Freda and I are off to France for 10 days to try and relax and get back to where we started. I appreciate all the private emails and calls I have received from my special friends here and I look forward to my return to the (BIG) list next month. I will be in contact with my family via email thru my aol account and I will try and touch base while I am away. I hope you are all > well and safe with your loved ones and pray for your well being in these troubled times. I also pray for ultimate peace on earth amongst all people and that we get to the other side together to be able to enjoy life, love, > and music. Take good care of each other and try to work together for the betterment of us all. Love and peace to you all. > > Your brother, > > Michael Paz > > P.S. Sorry - I will try to copy it tomorrow at work and sent it on if you'd like. Essentially the Times focused on artists, professional or not, and children artists, in New York, for their thoughts and reactions regarding 9/11. I don't know if they have pre-empted Joni for now or not. I'm hoping her paintings will still appear. Kakki Murph wrote: > > > It's not working, Kakki!
