Her name is Terri Hendrix and she is a great guitarist, singer and writer. She's from Texas but not country, not pop, not folk...you can't really classify her. I really enjoy her performances and am gonna see her in NJ next week. She has a site at www.terrihendrix.com for any interested in hearing some of her music or checking her out. Real nice girl met her and talked to her for a bit last time I saw her, great sense of humor too. But I'd be interested in knowing what makes you believe this. If you wouldn't mind posting some evidence that led you to your (hopefully accurate) opinion, I'd appreciate that. This was recently discussed on here. I hope someone has better luck than I do as I have bid on it several times in the past 2 years and still haven't gotten a copy. BTW, it is fairly common and on Ebay a lot. Hi Peg and all, Myself, I fail to see Ferron as NJC since she is so Jonified. And yes, she definitely outdoes Joni in the poetically under-rated department...it ought to be illegal to cast such blazing talent out in the cold like she has been...I respect her for being herself... "...Love takes so much courage, Love takes so much shit..."-JoniM Clearly, many people require an attitude adjustment ;~) Here is what I would say to Ferron if she were here: It's not those that inflict the most but those who can suffer the most who will conquer...never surrender! My dad was admitted into the hospital tonight with severe pain in his kidney. My brother in law just called and I made the reservation for tomorrow. The surgery was scheduled for Wednesday, but that may change. I thank everyone for the strength and support that I have received from all of you and it will keep me strong for him. I know he is scared and confused so I will need to be strong for him. My kids have been great and not whined about postponing our trip to Wally World in Orlando. My #1 said he just wants his pa-paw to get better soon and live to be 100. I am so blessed, I just can't tell you how that makes me feel. I will try to bounce some emails to the list from up there, but I don't know what kind of access I will have. My lap top has been acting up so I might not even take it. I will be taking some Joni CD's as well as some of the fest CD's to comfort me. I hope everyone has a great weekend and don't forget to hug the kids and phone home to mom and pop.
