I quickly honed in on this Vince. Not sure if it was posted, cause I wasn't posting then. But I am a C&S fanatic -- I consider it one of pops greatest albums and was impressed. Also a couple of years ago (TTT article) RS referred to C&S as the "gold standard of literate songwriting" :-) RS has actually been somewhat good to Joni over the years-- almost all of her albums in the 70's were met with long, glowing, thoughtful, first page reviews -- too bad they had to mess it up by drawing that broken-heart chart that hurt her (and voting HOSL worst album title). Jeff Jeff "That's why the criterion of 'standing the test of time' was invented - a standard that C&S will always meet." ____________________________________________________________________ Get your own FREE, personal Netscape WebMail account today at http://webmail.netscape.com. ------------------------------ End of JMDL Digest V2000 #412 ***************************** ------- Post messages to the list at Unsubscribe by sending "unsubscribe joni-digest" to ------- Siquomb, isn't she?
