Kakki spoke elequently about why someone might not want to be labeled. It is not about the ideas, its about the label. In my excitement to get this Mendel tape out as fast as possible, I started in on this video project as soon as I got home, and have been working on it for several days. I realize that I am feeling overwhelmed to say the least. Believe it or not, I am leaving again Friday for a week, a committment that at this point I wish I had not made, but alas, I did make it. I am trying to get the extra 45 Mendel catalogs taken care of, messages for Jonifest out, setting up branches for this next set of videos, etc.- all before Friday, because most likely I will not have access to e-mail for a week. I realize that in order to leave again, I must first take care of the immediately personal things that have piled up for the past 3 weeks. My children are coming home from camp tomorrow, and they are my first priority. So.....I am temporarily putting the project on hold for several weeks so I can get my life back in order. The fact is, I think I temporarily lost my sanity, and let my incredible enthusiasm overtake any sense of rationality. I really do want to get this in everyone's hands, and I will, believe me. I am just feeling incredibly overwhelmed right now. I hope you understand.
