But now I'd like to know what songs everyone thinks are most LIKELY to end up on that record. Do I smell an idea for a cool contest? Submit your list of the twelve songs you think Joni will do next, and win . . . stolen clothes! hair in your bathtub drain! a boom-boom pachyderm! the latest styles and colors! (is that our new car, Charles?) Anyway, a proposed twelve-song album would have to include: 1. Judgement of the Moon and Stars 2. Be Cool 3. Hejira 4. For the Roses I would hastily presume Joni would tackle the following: 5. Shadows and Light 6. Amelia 7. Woodstock 8. Night Ride Home 9. The Magdalene Laundries 10. Down to You 11. The Sire of Sorrow 12. Overture/Cotton Avenue Anybody have any leads? Better choices? Anecdotes? Admonishments? (This is by no means a wish list, just a speculation . . . dreams, dreams and false alarms). But hey, ya never know - good luck! I'll handle this question until Michael has time to give us a progress report. The short answer is maybe. I asked Michael if he understands that there's probably a LOT of enthusiasm for this material and he does understand that. Michael's priority is to raise funds for the Ruth Paz Foundation's important work- immediate burn relief for children before they can be transferred to the Shriner's Burn Center. The radio station may or may not web-cast the audio. Joni may or may not waive her royalty "pennies". The artists may or may not grant permission to their performances. The video may or may not be wedded to the audio. Let's all hope that something can be hammered out. I was there and I can tell you that there are some very special moments in the can. I'd like to get my hands on the roll call of musicians who donated their time and talents to this wonderful Foundation and post it. - ----- Original Message ----- From: "cassy" > I just want to know if there will be a video or cassette > for those of us who couldn't be there?
