(NJC) Anne, hooray! you made it through ok! judging from what you say that wasn't exactly a walk in the park. you're a strong lady! :o) welcome back to the world of 'not a hospital'! it's really good to hear you are ok. I recommend moderate doses of STAS and Hejira to aide in healing! *verybigsmile* pat Angelfire for your free web-based e-mail. http://www.angelfire.com ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 4 Apr 2000 17:35:32 +1200 From: "Helen M. The kaka (for those who are interested!) is actually a forest-dwelling native parrot, endemic to NZ (ie, a native not found anywhere else). Picture available at http://www.nzbirds.com/Kaka.html I knew my years working for the Dept. of Conversation (equivalent to Wildlife Service) would come in useful! So there! And I'm glad you enjoyed your time in good old NZ - maybe you can recommend it to some other people around here! You're right, though, the south of the South Island is amazing and very different from the North Island, which surprises a lot of people. It's a pretty diverse country in many ways (and I like it quite a lot)! Hell P.S. Congratulations on the cricket - the Australian team are pretty much unbeatable at the moment, although I think we gave them a pretty good run for their money. It wasn't a complete hammering! _______________________________ "I don't believe in livin' in the middle with available extremes" - Carole King hell@ihug.co.nz ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 4 Apr 2000 17:41:49 +1200 From: "Helen M. It appeared Dave thought so too. Guitarpoint@aol.com properly corrects Vince, pointing out my inadequate words > "Joni was and always will be radiant. Sorry for my screwup and to the person who said that Joni was radiant all the time, yes, I agree, and I also agree that I am incapable of a two sentence post that isn't full of mistakes and offensive to those better than myself, a group too large to name, as I am clearly far beneath the par and long ago lost my prime (if I had one ever). I apologize. I'll go lurk awhile until I can learn to post better, maybe improve to being slightly semi adequate. I am tired; was a long weekend, dead tired and I woke just to tape Joni, and sorry for the post that was so inadequate. Now back to the safety of bed. +Vince ------------------------------ End of JMDL Digest V2000 #169 ***************************** ------- Post messages to the list at Unsubscribe by sending "unsubscribe joni-digest" to ------- Siquomb, isn't she?
