Beautiful state, lots of backwood people, Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill seemed like an oasis in a sea of stupidity, with Jesse being King. I remember getting a book at Reader's Corner on Hillsborough St. that was a compilation of Jesse sayings, can't find it now, must have traded or gave it away when we moved to Dallas, I think it was called "If Jesse Says Its So" or something like that. I could not believe that someone that ignorant kept getting elected. I even stood in line for two hours to vote against him! Just the sound of his voice or reading his name in print makes my skin crawl. Sorry. Bad Jesse memories. The Zekkletrob is impared with the Zoppers feedback into the trending flange osscilator. When the humidity gets over 80% (a frequent occurrence where you live) it creates enormous puffles in the Sensitor which inhibits the free flow of augmented chords and prevents the playing of entire passages with only one pinky finger. Clearly you need to download the Ozone Obliqueinator into the Sensitor which will in turn reverse the feedback and make the Zeekletrob function properly. All the missing chords will return and be playable with only one finger position !! ta da! huzzah! and boombah. marcel. " Dear Marcel- I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for solving my VG-8 problems. Ansd to imagine all this from a man who doesn't even own a VG-8. Just a note to let you know my Zeekletrob is swinging now. Thanks again. Michael NP-Boston trying to pull a rabbit out of their caps. They ring truer and clearer all the time. I imagine that a large point of reference for her has been what she's read in the papers or seen on T.V. here in L.A. along with her own personal litigation woes. When I see which lawyers get most of the air time here, it's usually all the same jokers who turn normal people's stomachs. There an unofficial adage here in the L.A. law world that if you are *really* a good lawyer, you *never* get your name in the popular newspapers or on the T.V. The best and most ethical and respected lawyers don't need the publicity, but more than that, they are highly careful to not be in any way indiscreet in the representation of their clients. > Why are lawyers all "little" to Joni? > > She makes me feel bad and dumb, and I'm going through enough self doubt on > my own without having to be reminded af all the bad lawyers and judges in > the world. Aw, Brett, you have to look at it in another way. *You* are not one of those little woolly ones, and you can be eternally thankful for that! And think of how much fun it is to show those types up in court! I've worked with probably 150 different lawyers in the past 16 years, and while it wasn't always real fun (they are not normally warm and fuzzy individuals) and some drove me half nuts at times, I can honestly say that there was only one I can think of in all those years who was piggy and a bit weak in the ethics department. Surprising to some people, but true. And even though, I'm not real crazy about some of their personalities, I am always impressed with their brains, talent and dedication.
