Suprisingly, it doesn't bother me in the least on TTT! In fact, I feel it sets a mood, an incredible congruency throughout the whole CD that I don't think has been there for Joni since Blue. Painters tend to go through "periods" or "studies" where they explore a certain color combination, texture, technique, or subject matter, with all kinds of variations around a unifying theme. I think of TTT like that. Like variations around a single sound on the VG-8, accompanied by the orchestral-like keyboards. The widely different songs and different topics are thus tied together. It works for me. - -- Phyliss pward@lightspeed.net http://www.bodywise.com/consultants/bpward ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 3 Oct 1998 02:27:41 -0400 From: "Marsha" Subject: Re: Joni License Plate/ Joni Bumberstickers - -----Original Message----- From: Cblakey5@aol.com To: joni@smoe.org Date: Saturday, October 03, 1998 12:24 AM Subject: Re: Joni License Plate/ Joni Bumberstickers > Ah Marsha, tiz a lovely idea. I've long desired the >pleasure of having a Joni bumbersticker on my car. I'm surprised that there >seems never have been any available. If there is enough interest out there >(gulp), I would be willing to look into getting some printed up. If anyone is >interested, let me know. > I would love to put "Joni Mitchell Never Lies" on my bumper. Stickers are easy to get made. The letters are at office supply stores and then usually about a dollar a sticker at print shops. Good project for raising jmdl bucks, if anyone gets the whim and will do it. I am excited about my plate. I will drive it proudly.
