It was the first time we met so it as exciting. I also met her friend and her killer attack dog (hehe.) On our way, walking to the Tabernacle, from venue's $8 parking lot we saw Todd (founder of the infamous TAP; youscrubme) waving to us. From there I was informed that I needed to go to the window to get my ticket with my voucher. On my way I ran into Dana (am69dana). I was told to join the voucher line which was like 4 people when I got there. We waited for about an hour to be let in. They started letting people in at about 4:30. I was the 5th person to be let in. I ran up the stars, then strait for the stage. I was in the front row, left of the mic (I am told this is the best spot) There were no seats so I had to stand there for the whole 4 hours, with an occasional squat to give me legs a break. I hung out with Dana for the majority of the show. There were people behind us that tried to know the words to all the Alanis sings but they screwed up lots of times, but they tried. Eventually Chris Witley came on. Like most people are saying, he could play guitar and that's what's great about him. When he finally got off the stage, a little boy, 13 I think, was jumping up and down saying "Alanis is coming! Alanis is coming!" And it turned around and said, "It's gonna be awhile!" Then he got depressed and said "Oh." It seemed forever before she came on. When she did and starting singing, she came over to our side of the stage and we started screaming, and everyone else but me and Danna was holdng out there arms for Alanis to touch them. But the stage was so far away she wouldn't haave fallen in front of us if she tried. But anyway, below ifs the setlist to the best of my recalection. Baba Can't Not Would Not Come Hand In My Pocket Are You Still Mad (the order gets blurry after this) Ironic You Ouhta Know Your House Unsent (New song!!) and a whole bunch of new songs..hehe) Your Congratulations After the concert I finally found my brother and Kelly. (I never found Marsha or Donna) We went to go buy a 23 dollar t-shirt!! I got the one with the moral code on it. I also got a sticker. Then we went to IHOP and then home. Ifanyone recoredit, pleae let me know! Ok..thats all for now.. ------------------------------ End of jltl-digest V2 #13 *************************
