So if I give a vicodin to a friend (which I have been known to do) he could get three and a half years? Or is it because of Courntey's prior convictions? Scary, man! A stroll down memory lane: one memorable day back around '98 I saw Courtney at Sony studios having lunch with a good-looking black actor, then went out to Santa Monica that night and saw Mary Lou and Kevin! How weird is that? ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 28 Jul 2004 18:41:56 -0400 From: "Jill Falzoi" Subject: Re: [MLL] Stiff Sentence for Vicodin > ----- Original Message ----- > From: > To: > > [...] So if I give a vicodin to a friend (which I have been > known to > do) he could get three and a half years? Or is > it because of Courntey's > prior convictions? You could get a sentence yourself! It *is* illegal to share medications (not that it is never done,) but having mind-altering prescription painkillers (without a prescription) is probably thought more worthy of a sentence (probation or a fine?) than being found with some unprescribed Prozac in your pocket. (I did get a long lecture from two proselytizing security guards in an airport once about my *prescribed* Prozac, but that's another story.) That being said, Courtney's pockets seem more likely to be searched than someone else's pockets. Usually prescription drugs (unprescribed) are only discovered in the midst of investigating a different charge. So just tell your friend not to throw microphone stands, attack anyone, break into someone's home, or flash on public television with Hydrocodone in his/her pocket. Also, drink lots and lots of water. That stuff is dehydrating. Jill ------------------------------ End of jinglejangle-digest V7 #109 **********************************
