I went to my local BARNES AND NOBLE bookstore to look for that magazine. No luck. I then asked the nice lady behind the counter if they even carried it. She said they do, but it's a bi-monthly magazine (the last issue they received April 9th), and at this particular store, they only get about 3 copies of it. Can't wait to see her this upcoming Friday at TT's in Boston!! YAYYYYYYY!!! -KEN __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Win a $20,000 Career Makeover at Yahoo! I may have missed it somehow, but I didn't nonetheless. :(. Anyone know what's up? In case you don't know, Miles of Music is a local LA music website that sells/distributes lots of indie rock, alternative country and more mainstream stuff via their website and they send round an email every now & then with reviews written by the staff. I buy a lot of cds from them -- especially cuz they carry alot of my friends' records from here in LA -- but also because every single record on the site has a hand-written review by someone on the staff and you can usually listen to bits. We love Miles of Music. I was hoping MOM would review Baby Blue in their newsletter, but they haven't yet. They do carry it on the site, tho: http://store.milesofmusic.com/prodinfo.asp?number=29388&variation=&aitem=3&mi tem=3 Funny Gilmore bit from the MOM newsletter: DJ Jeff: fashion plate or walking "The WB" network billboard? Sometime in the very recent past, DJ Jeff was moving an order out the door when he noticed the person receiving the package had an e-mail with @thewb.com domain name. DJ dropped a note on the order that said, in effect, he loves The Gilmore Girls TV show. Surprisingly, a packaged arrived yesterday by messenger that had a Gilmore Girls coffee mug and a ball cap from the fictional Luke's diner in the show. Like a little girl who slipped on mom's pumps for the first time, DJ paraded around here, hat poised on his head, mug filled with hot coffee - because Lorelei Gilmore loves coffee - and pretty much strutted around the office. It was good stuff to witness. If your Jester proclaims his love for The Sopranos and Deadwood, will swag pour in so I can parade around like I'm wearing my mom's pumps? And, why hasn't Ms. Weed Patch hooked up her favorite brother-in-law with some Gilmore Girls swag? See those WB people CAN be nice!
