In fact, sometimes he strikes me as a Patty Larkin wannabe, using a lot of open tunings, bass drones, and abstract lyrics. He often plays with a sideman called Goody (David Goodrich) on mandolin, who is quite good also, and it seems he also has an album of his own out. They work very well together, though I admit that as I am myself a mandolinist I tend to pay more attention to Goody than Peter. C'est la vie. They both have eponymous websites, which are also linked to younghunter.com (which also links to Jeffrey Foucault, whom somebody mentioned).
