Anyone know anything more about this fellow? He's an incredible guitar player and songwriter, who also happens to do great covers of other artists. His new CD, in fact, is all covers. Check out his bio at http://petermulvey.com. If he is performing anywhere within a rational distance of where you happen to be you owe it to yourself to go see him and make his acquaintance. NPR's Sunday Weekend Edition did a nice segment about Peter and his "Subway Album" a couple of months back and it should still be available to listen to at: http://www.npr.org/programs/wesun/features/2002/mulvey/index/html Another good resource for your Mulveyfication is the archive of the Kennedy Center's Millenium Stage. Two of Peter's performances can be viewed there, along with countless others (including an unforgettable show by Tracy Grammer and the late Dave Carter, to name one of my favorites). http://www.kennedy-center.org/programs/millennium/artist_detail.cfm?artist_i d=MULVEYPETE While I'm at it, let me throw in gratuitous plugs for Jeffrey Foucault, Mark Erelli and Kris Delmhorst, each of whom is well worth your attention.
