They were selling the Live City Sounds for the bargain price of $5 at the show in Arlington two weeks ago, and she seemed to have lots of them still available. She even told a little story about how she recorded the stuff herself with a DAT deck she bought and then returned after she was done, and that is why they were so cheap for her to make. If she decides to raise the price at future shows I wouldn't blame her though; even on my very limited finances I certainly would have been happy to pay at least $10 for it. I would still be interested in learning how to order the EP from Rubric though. I'm living up in Marin for a few months and there is a yoga studio in Mill Valley that sells pretty fantastic meditation cd's and music from Indian and the Himalayas. I was there purchasing some cd's the other day and there amongst the Krishna chants and sitar they had the MLL CITY SOUNDS CD! I talked to the music buyer (Josh) there and he was like "I occasionally add certain cd's to the mix that I just think are incredible! I just love that cd!" I like the idea of meditating to Mary Lou and the sounds of the subway.
