You can buy the EP with that song on it (+ 2 unreleased GNS > demos) from Rubric for 5 bux. Do you have the details on the EP, and where how I would order it? I'm sure others woule be interested in the info as well. Is it the same version of the song that is "missing" from my copy of Live City Sounds, or a different one? I have heard that a version of her playing that song is being used on a TV commercial for Target, but I have never seen it myself, and don't recall anyone mentioning it here. It's the same version from Live City Sounds & the Target ad. It's not actually recorded live, which is why it's not on the self-published version, I guess. BTW, why is MLL selling 'em for $5? Aren't they... collector's items?! - -- Paul Editor, http://www.nihidyll.com ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 25 Aug 2002 16:36:27 -0500 (EST) From: "Jeff from Oxford" Subject: Re: [MLL] Speeding Motorcycle EP/LCS >BTW, why is MLL selling 'em for $5? The EP is $5; I believe Mary Lou was selling her version of LCS for $10 - still a bargain. Now that it's officially been released by Rubric, I don't think Mary Lou is selling "her version" anymore, so I guess you could call them collector's items. I know, but according to Rob Gronotte, he recently bought one (a "City Sounds" sans "Speeding Motorcycle") for $5 at a show. - -- Paul Editor, http://www.nihidyll.com ------------------------------ End of jinglejangle-digest V5 #99 *********************************
