BTW, "In The Street," the theme from That 70's Show, is also by them and is from the same album, "#1 Record" (except the "we're all alright" bit; that's been added), though it's performed by P.U.S.A. for the show. JourneyBear Who happened to pass through their old home town of Memphis not too long ago and was shocked and appalled to see the plaque in front of Graceland has misspelled Elvis' middle name (that's "Aron" with only one A) and hopes by telling everyone he can that this grievous wrong will be corrected >does anyone know who wrote thirteen and own worst enemy? those are the two >i can't figure out. thanks. > >andrea _________________________________________________________________ Send and receive Hotmail on your mobile device: http://mobile.msn.com ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 21 Apr 2002 22:01:16 -0400 From: "Journey Bear" Subject: Re: [MLL] GNS demos >From: "Jeff From Oxford" > > > > "How about a little history? Was someone saying they >were >looking for these tracks or they found them for sale/download somewhere? > No, no. Dino was complaining about the lack of annotation on the Rubric release of "Speeding Motorcycle" (I'm not sure, but I think he meant a CD single with some other tracks) and offered that as an example of what they COULD have said. He later corrected himself to say the tracks are 5 years old. Careful. Misunderstanding is one way that rumors start. JourneyBear who believes there's nothing funny about peace, love, and understanding - OK, love can be pretty funny sometimes _________________________________________________________________ MSN Photos is the easiest way to share and print your photos: http://photos.msn.com/support/worldwide.aspx ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 22 Apr 2002 00:13:03 -0400 From: Ed Lynn Subject: Re: [MLL] live city sounds 4/21/02 9:42:57 PM, Journey Bear wrote: >"Thirteen" was written by Alex Chilton and Chris Bell, then in Big Star, one >of the great lost bands. While we're this far off-topic, Cheap Trick fans, here's a trivia question: What's the connection between Cheap Trick and Todd Rundgren?
