Best O' 2001 Nickel Creek - Nickel Creek - Newgrass, Youthgrass, whatever you wanna call it. 100% acoustic goodness. Incredible performance, great songs, traditional bluegrass mixed with modern artistry. (Produced by Allison Krause)I like it. Sunday morning coffee and cuddle kinda music. O Brother Where Art Thou? - Soundtrack - This was 2001 and not 2000, right? It seems so long ago. Hmm. I'm gonna play it soon as I finish this post. Gillian Welch - Time (The Revelator) - GO TO THE RECORD STORE RIGHT NOW AND BUY(or steal)THIS RECORD! If you dig ML you'll probably dig this record almost as much as I do. Fricking great songs. David Rawlings is so good it makes me drool. This recording is what presenting a collection of SONGS is about. Sunday night crying fit kinda music, sometimes.
