The Passim show is at 8 pm and Jo Davidson opens. I got the chance to hear her busk in Harvard Square this weekend which was a lot of fun, as was meeting many (6 or so?) members of this very list. She played a lot of the usual songs, as well as a few I hadn't heard before like "Don't Tear Me Up" by Mick Jagger. She talked about the Target commercial, which will be out in the fall and will feature her version of "Speeding Motorcycle," and as she says will feature 3 hot model chicks in fake leather around a motorcycle and then will show motorcycle parts flashing by. And for those trivia buffs out there, she also said she wrote "Western Union Desperate" in the parking lot of a Safeway in Portland, Oregon. Mary Lou sounded very excited about Rachael Davis. I just ordered her CD from cdbaby.com to check her out since she's getting such a huge recommendation from Mary Lou. I myself have finally cracked open the new Go-Go's CD, God Bless The Go-Go's, and it is a fabulous summer pop album. :) Rachel Get personalized email addresses from Yahoo!
