I remember reading extensively about that incident when it happened, then hearing the whole story from Mary Lou herself... I even tried to arrange a lunch date with her in the same mini-mall ("Gower Gulch") where she'd hidden in a dumpster from Courtney (thinking she'd feel at home!) but alas, ML was too busy. Visitors to Hollywood who want to visit famous MLL sites should also check out Sunset Sound Studios (birthplace of GNS), Aron's Records (MLL crashed a rental car swerving into the parking lot), the alley behind Highland Grounds (location for her Option Magazine photo) and of course, the Santa Monica Promenade where she played COUNTLESS evenings.
