All the best, Ben ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 16 Jul 2000 22:27:53 EDT From: AWeiss4338@aol.com Subject: [MLL] OT Jill Sobule Jill Sobule will have a private show at the Columbia City Theater in Seattle on July 30th. It is a small intimate performance about 150 people. There will be a meet & greet afterward. Doors open at 600PM. You can purchase tickets at the door, but it's recommended that you do so in advance. Anyone in the Seattle area (or who will be in the Seattle area) can call (206)433-0279. You will also be able to obtain info by accessing www.columbiacitytheater.com or www.jillsobule.com. The former will have an address and directions. There will be a Zshop set up at Amazon to place ticket orders. You can also go into WonderworldBooks in Burien in person and ask for Dave Nelson or e-mail him at world@oz.net. www.wonderworldbooks.com. Jill will be singing and will sign autographs. The cost is a mere $12. Goodies will be served gratis, and there will be a nominal charge for beverages. It is an all ages show. Can't go, too far away, but this will be good. I recomend Jill, she was the woman who did I Kissed A Girl some years back and her new album Pink Pearl is great. She's more pop then Mary Lou, but like Mary Lou, she writes wonderfully witty, quirky lyrics. She doesn't do a lot of covers like Mary Lou, but she does do a good version of I Will Survive.
