Tom Waits did Letterman the same nite as his final show at the Beacon. However, having had an experience with bands on the Conan show, because the musical guest is LAST on the list & there's post-show autographing & congrats from Conan POOBAH O'Brien, so getting all the way downtown from Rockefeller Center by 8, could be tricky. So what I'm saying is....he could either be performing on Conan on Thursday or Friday. So you've learned nothing new from my posting...other than I think like a high school math problem.... At Conan's site under "who's next" Elliott is listed as appearing "Thursday the 20th". Under "musical guest" he's listed as "4/21/00". So I'm assuming that's when it is, but then again, I don't really watch much late night tv. I like Figure 8, but I think it will have to grow on me...I've heard these songs with just Elliott playing them, not with all the mega instrumentation he has on the album. But when I went to Virgin Megastore on Tuesday "Easy Way Out" was playing and it sounded great all loud like that. Elliott's gonna be touring too...I have tickets to see him 3 nights in a row at Irving Plaza in May. OK, I didn't add much here either, but my boss is out today and I have nothing to do. :) Rachel __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Send online invitations with Yahoo!
