As Rachel seems to have discovered afterwords, the CD is indeed out - much to my surprise I found numerous copies at the Newbury Comics in Harvard Square yesterday evening. I wasn't even looking for it! "Aim Low" is by far the highlight, based on the first listening, and it's a remarkably Byrdsy jangly pop song. I don't like "Hard Road" that well either in concert or regrettably on the record either. The first track is the weirdest thing Mary Lou has ever recorded in some ways, and I'd rather think of it as a Raging Teens song with a guest vocalist than one of her own songs. A side note: Any idea if Mary Lou's voice has changed in recent days? Probably just the production or mixing, but on the EP her voice has a much darker, lower tone and the timbre is completely different than how she's sung in the past. Anyway, I haven't had a chance to listen to it yet but when I do I will give my little report... Rachel __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
