Hi - this is Rachel. I just wanted to tell everyone that I'll be mainly using this as my email address because the NYU one I don't have much access to. Happy New Year to everyone, and a big Happy 1st birthday to Miss Annabelle! This year seems to have flown by... I'm very excited about Mary Lou's upcoming EP - I definitely want to have "Aim Low" to listen to as much as I want. I didn't really do a top 10 list this year, because there weren't 10 albums I loved and I just couldn't pick an order, so some things I liked a lot this year were: Day One - Sarah Dougher Le Tigre - Le Tigre The Hot Rock - Sleater-Kinney Electric Honey - Luscious Jackson Field Studies - Quasi Rehearsals for Departure - Damien Jurado I just saw Elliott Smith last night, he played a LOT of new songs, I think his new album is out in January. I think one of the best shows I saw this year was Lois (finally - my first time seeing her) on Valentine's Day - it was just a very cute show. Also the Buck/Muffs show I saw and the excellent Sarah Dougher/Crabs show at Maxwells. My favorite book this year was Susie Bright's Full Exposure. Movies...I don't know. So if people want to post their lists, feel free to do so, and have fun and be safe tonight. :) Rachel __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
