I actually didn't ever really hear of her, I was at a local record store and had ten bucks burning a hole in my pocket and I just felt like buying something new, so I saw Martian Saints 7" and I liked the cover so i got it. Good thing I'm a weirdo or else I never would have heard of her! ~britta ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 04 Nov 1999 14:55:27 GMT From: "Jon-Paul Mason" Subject: [MLL] Re: Mary Lou in London????? Hi, I was wondering if anyone had information on Mary lou playing over in Britain. I read an e-mail from Rough trade records that she is playing on the 15th Nov at the Notting hill arts club in London. Please can anyone confirm this. Hi Carsten, your not the only european. Here's one 25 year old guy from Finland so that makes two of us. Well, I'm sure there are others. My first MLL experience was the Safe&Sound cd and after that a fine compilation tape that my friend Cathy made me. That treasure tape had the song His ND World. Later when I bought all the cds I was nicely surprised with a song of my hometown Helsinki. Now I should mention that last year the local airport was nominated the best in the world, so there has been some progress ;) MARY LOU WILL YOU COME BACK, IT'S NOT SO HORRIBLE HERE ANYMORE !!
