Mary Lou also said she might make cassettes of this song available when she plays out before it comes out on KRS. That song sounds incredibly familiar to me; I'm not sure if there is another song that is very much like it, or if it is really very much of a standard song form. Also, at the Boston show in July, she did a song that she said her extremely un-musical sister had written. The sister woke up one morning, and the music for the song had come to her in a dream. Also in the dream (or maybe it was the next night), her mother appeared and gave her the song lyrics. The song is pretty simplistic, but some of the verses are nice. The subject matter is the relationship between the mother and the daughter (or daughters). Mary Lou read the lyrics off handwritten sheets to sing it. Had she done this at any other shows? I just saw Jess Klein here in Los Angeles last weekend and she's a very engaging singer-songwriter. If anyone on the West Coast is interested in seeing her she has her final LA show tonight in Santa Monica. She finishes off her left coast tour in the Bay Area. Check her website for details: http://www.jessklein.com Also, has anyone posted any new songs Mary Lou has been performing at these recent shows? ___________________________________________________________________ Get the Internet just the way you want it.
