He said, to the best of his knowledge, the MLL show scheduled for June 20th is still planned and he's heard nothing of a cancelation. So we can only hope and keep our fingers crossed. n.p. The website (www.elevatormusic.com) says all shows 8:00, no mention of prices or order of performance. >where is the tune inn located in new haven? 29 Center Street between Orange and Church Streets, parallel to (and between) Chapel and Crown Streets. Center Street is one way, going from Orange toward Church (due west). From I-95 take the Rt. 34 connector to downtown New Haven, Church Street exit. At the end of the ramp turn right onto Church Street. I think Center Street is the third intersection, with Dunkin Donuts at the corner. One way the wrong way, so go around the block. You should be able to find parking on the street, no need to put money in meters at night. >about how much will it cost to get in? I'm guessing $10. >what ages? (im 17) It's all ages, with the bar area sectioned off by chain link fence. >how big is the tune inn? any other info is appreciated too. Holds about 250, I guess, maybe 300 packed in. I posted before about the ambience or lack thereof. Hate to repeat myself. This is a punk/ska club. It is barren, grimy, loud, with three picnic tables the only furniture. The good news is there's nowhere for performers to hide - well, the dressing room is to the left of the stage - so you should find it easy to meet her. There are three phone numbers. 203-772-4310 is a really annoying outgoing recording with some band they are promoting that they play for a whole minute before you get any info. It does say, "Friday June 18, Mary Lou Lord, Kitty Bad Ass, and The Rays." Makes me think she's on first. No way to know for sure yet. At the end of the message it says "Call 865-9371 to talk to someone at the club (noone's there right now) and 497-9831 for booking." That's the owner/mgr's number - called and left a message. If I hear anything I'll pass it along. BTW, for some reason the print ad and website give his number as 497-9631. I don't think so. >thanks a lot. > >andrea You're welcome, and have a great time. ;-) Wish I could be there. ;-( Peace JourneyBear (whose addy is changing soon) _______________________________________________________________ Get Free Email and Do More On The Web.
