Hi, I love the work that Mary Lou does. She's my favorite artist, but I've only been able to get Got No Shadow and the 2 KRS EP's. I'm wondering if anyone knows of where I could get any of her earlier stuff. I read on Rachel's site that she released a tape. I'd even appreciate it if someone would make me a copy of the stuff they have. I have lots of stuff to trade! I'd really appreciate Your help! Tori Amos -- From the Choirgirl Hotel Pansy Division -- Absurd Pop Song Romance: sheer brilliance, a pop masterpiece from Lookout!'s pop-punk queers Ani DiFranco -- Little Plastic Castle (if it is from this year) Bright Eyes -- debut, something about happiness?? (I forget the title but it was a damn good album) maybe Belle & Sebastian -- The Boy With the Arab Strap: not nearly as good as If You're Feeling Sinister, but still interesting I'm sure I'll think of a lot more albums I should've posted, but that's what comes to mind at the moment. Look out for her; Luka Bloom - Salty Heaven, the songs don't translate on CD as they do live but he is a beautiful man and the songs reflect that; Sonic Youth - a Thousand Leaves, because I love weird tuning as long as I'm not playing it; Mary Lou Lord - Got No Shadow, because there are so many styles on this record and it reminds me of my trip to the States earlier this year, and I love the melodies, riffs and harmonies that are all over it; Hole - Celebrity Skin, the bass and the acoustic guitar makes this album; Pulp - This is Hardcore, because Jarvis Cocker is a very strange man and they were outstanding live. Well that's my 10 for now, but I'll probably go away and realise that I left out some really important ones! See ya Maryanne _________________________________________________________ DO YOU YAHOO!?
