I've been a fan of Mary Lou's for about 6 months or so, and I have Got No Shadow and her two EP's. I also have a friend in Seattle who's Uncle or something recieved a demo tape of Mary Lou's a while back, and she made me a copy of that, and I absolutlely can't wait to get it. Mary Lou's music has gotten to me more than any other artist's music ever, and everything to do with this woman just astonishes me. Has anyone read her autobiography in that Women Artists book? I know it's available on someone's unofficial MLL site. Anyways, I live in Calgary, AB, Canada, and if there's another MLL fan who live's here, then I'd love to hear from you. Some other artists that I identify with are: EBTG, Esthero, Olive, PJ Harvey, Bettie Serveert, and I do listen to some Portishead and Bjork and stuff. Bettie Serveert is a great band, very similar to MLL, but a little more rockier! I'd say Lamprey is their best album, though Palomine is pretty good as well! Anyways, I'll let you go. Have Fun!!!
