I totally agree with you, Laura that Mary Lou's songs are almost always straight chord progressions. I think it would be a great idea to maybe set up a listing of her songs that people on the list can play and if the concept of we ever went through with the idea of a cover tape we could have like a sign up sheet or something? I hope that makes sense...didn't sleep much last night :) Anybody have the chords to Salem '76? I'm kinda stuck! thanks! ~britta ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 22 Jun 1998 14:21:00 -0400 From: Derek Subject: [MLL] Re: jinglejangle-digest V1 #121 > Date: Sun, 21 Jun 1998 10:21:02 -0700 > From: fisher > Subject: [MLL] mary lou songs and cover tapes > > >Britta - great story! I think that this would be a great idea too, although a bit difficult to organize. I think that a lot of us probably DO play guitar or some instrument and what I think would be REALLY cool is if we could pass around a tape and have people add something to the tracks. Like somone can add drums to a specific song while somone else can add bass...etc.... However, I realize that this is probably a bit too much to expect. I od think that a cover tape would be a really cool thing to do and of course we'd have to send Mary Lou a copy. :) On Mon, 22 Jun 1998, rainswept@nwu.edu wrote: > > > > > > > > > > > > > On Mon, 22 Jun 1998, Jaymes F Horton wrote: > > > This is definitely a great idea!
