Be sure to check out and sign-up for the concert tracker over at My Indie World (http://www.rpi.edu/~wolfeb/lord/). It's a great place to see who else is going to certain shows, and how to contact them. There were quite a few people signed up for Mary's canceled tour, so let's try to set up some fan-meetings for these Lilith Fair dates. Also, in case you don't have HBO2, or are not going to be able to catch Reverb tonight, I should have images from the show and (hopefully) the entire performance up in mp3 format on my page sometime next week. I'll let you know when they're up! Can someone post the setlist if they see it? Because I was there and from what I recall they played for about an hour, but I think Reverb is only doing half hour segments. Also, I got a preliminary schedule for Intel Fest (kindof like CMJ) which is being held July 15-18 at various clubs in NYC (notably Sunny Day Real Estate on July 18, I think or else it's the 17th), and anyway, they have Mary Lou listed as playing Mercury Lounge July 15. I wrote to David to see if this is indeed true but it'd be really cool if she did a NY date because she'll be far from here on Lilith. And if anyone gets any FLYERS or hears about any future Raging Teens shows, please post to the list, ok? Because I missed them and would have gone to see them. And sorry if I already posted about this, but Monday there was a mini-Lilith Fair show at Bryant Park and they showed a little video clip from the Vogue photo shoot, which I think I've heard has been on VH1. Mary Lou was in it for like 5 seconds, but it was still cool. And that band Mary Lou mentioned, The Kaisers, are playing Under Acme in NYC on July 13 and 14 - the poster advertising the show had them billed as "Scotland's Fab Four." I saw Quasi (Janet Sleater-Kinney and Sam Heatmiser) the other night and they were really wonderful - they're on tour, also doing some dates with Elliott Smith, so if they're in your town you might want to check them out. :) Rachel "cause everyone is a fucking pro and they all got answers from trouble you know and they all gotta say what you should and shouldn't do though they don't have a clue" -- elliott smith, "st. ides heaven" - --------------------------------------------------------------------------- my Mary Lou Lord page is at http://pages.nyu.edu/~rkb200/ To join the Mary Lou Lord mailing list, email Majordomo@smoe.org with ONLY "subscribe jinglejangle" OR "subscribe jinglejangle-digest" in the BODY.
