OK, Mary Lou has decided to confirm those rumors herself, via the AOL folder. Joseph - thanks again, for everything - you know what I mean. I'll try to work on my site soon to post the photo of Mary Lou and Nick Saloman. Oh, I also recommend all three of Nick Hornby's books, though the music ones (High Fidelity and About A Boy) will probably appeal to more of you. Is everyone out there??... rachel Subject: HBO Date: Mon, Jun 1, 1998 8:51 PM From: Zerowork MLL will be on Reverb on HBO2 June 7th at 11:30 pm and on HBO June 26th at 2:10am ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Subject: Hello Everyone Date: Thu, Jun 4, 1998 3:19 PM From: Commelina Hello....Just a note to say hello and let you guys know what's going on at this end...I'm back in Salem for a while writing some new songs, reading, listening to music and enjoying a bit of creative-quiet...I guess the word is out that I did the rehab thing...Yes, and it was the best thing I could have done for myself (as well as everybody else)....It's not the easiest thing to do, but it's the real thing and it's the right thing. It is also true that I am pregnant...Just about over the first tri-mester, so I'm feeling a little more comfortable and confident that I can discuss it publicly. I'm looking forward to doing some shows this summer as well as Lilith and I hope to see some of you guys in my travels... I was kind of in a bummed out slump this week, but yesterday Kevin's mother heard an interview on the radio with Nick Hornby (a really cool English writer), and they asked him what he's been listening to..He said he listened mostly to classical music when he writes, but he said that he had my record in his walk man and that he loves it! I guess the interview was on the subject of me for a while, and I was very impressed to say the least..It really perked up my mood...My friend Jim told me once that he thought I might be one of the subjects in Mr.. Hornby's book(High Fidelity) named Marie LaSalle...I don't know about that, but it was a good book.... Anyway, I hope you're all having a nice day and enjoying the weather...There is a FANTASTICALLY AWESOMELY FUN band playing the Middle East on Thursday June 11 called the KAISERS....If you're in the area or if they come to your town GO ! Well, take care and all the best...Thank you for everything you guys.Talk to you soon Love, Mary Lou ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 4 Jun 1998 20:00:19 EDT From: SeanJordan@aol.com Subject: Re: [MLL] congrats to Mary Lou!!! I'd made a note in my head that I'd wanted to mention to WORK or John Cusack or someone that Mary Lou would be perfect for this role, though she'd kinda be playing herself... John Cusack, by the way, is producing/starring in the adaptation of HIGH FIDELITY... ~Sean ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 5 Jun 1998 01:16:34 EDT From: AWeiss4338@aol.com Subject: Re: [MLL] congrats to Mary Lou!!! I also recomend Nick Hornby's books. I've just read High Fedilty and it was Great. Havn't read the others (the new one I'm waiting for papaerback, hardcover is a bit steep for me) but I want to. If their anything like HF they'll be wonderful too. Andrea ------------------------------ End of jinglejangle-digest V1 #105 **********************************
