She started with a Q&A session, during which she really did answer a lot of questions about her career, her songs, her life. Afterward, everyone lined up for the book signing (I won't explain how that was arranged because it is done by the book store so will vary.) Jewel had agreed to sign her book, as well as any previous books and any of her CDs. It was announced she would not sign any memorabilia (tshirts, guitars, etc) but she actually did. Maybe the line was moving fast enough, she figured she could do it. The staff at the store would take your camera (or camera phone) and take a candid shot of you while you get the autograph...but this was a little awkward because Jewel was sitting on a chair behind a table while fans were standing or crouching in front of the table for the pic - so don't expect a great shot. If you want some good pics of Jewel, I suggest getting there at least an hour and a half early to get a seat up front during the Q&A. I was in the front row, my 6-year-old asked her how to yodel, and she came over and taught him! It was an amazing moment I will never forget. I know it wouldn't have happened had I not gotten there early for a front row seat. (If anyone wants to see the 30-second video, it is here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=7PlrOeFzuzI&sns=tw) Anyway, go and have a great time today! You won't regret it. :) ------------------------------ End of jewel-digest V16 #17 ***************************
