For those of you not completely sold on the country direction, I encourage you to get the deluxe version. The second disk of demos is fantastic - these are not crude, home-made sounding, but fully-realized acoustic versions of the songs. I am mostly playing this disc instead of the complete versions, to be honest. :) ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 11 Jun 2010 23:24:00 +0000 (GMT) From: "Kiera @ JKF" Subject: Re: [EDA] Sweet and Wild Deluxe Nothing against the actual album because I still haven't received mine and thus, haven't actually listened to it yet but I already know i'm going to play Sweet and Mild more. On a side note that gave me a giggle. We always seem to turn everything into an acronym and I was about to do that above and write S&M instead. Had to change it as the sentence had a whole new meaning then. And it came late. I'm beginning to worry that I'm going to end up part of this mix up too and end up only getting the regular CD. If I were you, I'd get in touch with them to ensure you're included in the list of affected people. What a mess. Hope they sort it very soon for you. ________________________________ From: Larry S. I suppose if we start referring to "S&M" on Twitter, the EDAs will get caught up in some very "interesting" trending topics. And as far as the kids are concerned, S&M refers to Sweet & Mild, and nothing else. ;-) MAC - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kiera @ JKF" To: "EDA" Sent: Friday, June 11, 2010 7:24 PM Subject: Re: [EDA] Sweet and Wild Deluxe > Nothing against the actual album because I still haven't received mine and > thus, haven't actually listened to it yet but I already know i'm going to > play > Sweet and Mild more. > > On a side note that gave me a giggle. Well, I've informed the Jewel team in writing about the problem, but as of just a few days ago, they said the only problem they were having was with the "Coffee Table Book" and that everything else would arrive right on time. I'd like to know how extensive the problem is, just out of curiosity. Also, Does anyone know about the HSN "Exclusive" extra ED that was being offered a week or two ago? Jewel performed several songs in a half-hour "sell-a-thon" for them, and they announced that their "additional" acoustic disc was exclusive to HSN and could not be obtained anywhere else.
